Caregiver Action Network (CAN): a national nonprofit focused on supporting family caregivers across the U.S., including those caring for older adults, people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and other care-needs. They provide education, peer support, and free resources to caregivers nationwide. They also operate a free “National Caregiver Help Desk” (phone: 855-227-3640) staffed by experts, offering advice, tools, and resources for caregivers and they maintain an online directory of caregiver resources and tools.
